Summer of 2023, a great friend from college Mitch invited me to join him and a coworker to the Great Sand Dunes for two nights. The timing was perfect and I was able to escape responsibility at Mission: Wolf in the middle of the week to join.
We stayed at the dopest airbnb--an old school bus this family had on the corner of their property. Great sunsets and weiners over the fire made for a great couple nights. Wish I could relive it already.
Honestly, though, I did spend a lot of time looking up at the looming mountains above wishing I was up there instead..
