The drive from work at CSU's mountain campus down into Fort Collins was, for the most part, one two-lane road running through canyon named Poudre. Along it is apparently some of the best rock climbing around. I wouldn't know because this was a first time thing for me. Just across the river from the road, where you see friends fishing and crossing, is what climbers refer to as "The Palace". I definitely failed more often than not, so it was good and humbling.
