Three of my utility crew mates and I from CSU's mountain campus went camping and fishing overnight, just up west of Walden, Colorado at a place called Delaney Lakes. We stopped at a couple streams along the way too.
It was one of those trips that ended as soon as it got going unfortunately. Still, good memories! One of the only fish we caught was a big trout I snagged with a spinner just off-shore. It fed all of us that morning comfortably. We stuffed veggies and butter where its guts were, threw it next to the fire for a bit, and then enjoyed ourselves one of the BEST meals there is. I'm very grateful for trout in this life.
