My first trip to Mission: Wolf wasn't by myself--IĀ ledĀ two different groups of high school kids camping onsite over the summer of 2020. Instead of South America like the summer before, a pandemicĀ sent us to remote Colorado..which was a bummer for me until the place turned into an inspirationĀ and then eventually home in 2021.
These photos are from a month-long visit I took the following summer. It was these days that convinced me I wanted to come back for a good chunk of time.Work and life and friend and teammate all blend into the day-to-day. Days and weeks start to feel more like circles and not oneĀ endless straight line. It's been called an "experiment in living" before. I am eternally grateful for all I learned living and working there.
